Objective:

Obtain a challenging position with a progressive company. I am a mission and team oriented individual, self-starter and accept responsibility well.

Work Experience:

Starbucks Coffee Company (Volt), 2005, Contractor
This contract position involved two departmental divisions of payroll at Starbuck's corporate headquarters: validation and garnishments. Validation involved double checking employee checks for accuracy against paper backups (epans, on demands, and reissues) and unverified database (MS Access). After the checks were verified, they had to be sealed by inserting stacks of them into a sealer. Then labels had to be made using the UPS Worldwide tracking system and Purolator for Canadian checks. At the end of the day, backups of labels for both UPS and Purolator were created and the checks were taken up to the mailroom for delivery. Garnishments involved clerical duties such as sorting garnishment checks and stuffing into envelopes, opening/stamping mail, filing, writing termination and NIS (not in system) letters, and use of the Company's SAP database system which required a certain level of security clearance to see confidential information (Seattle, WA).

Based on my research and functional specification review meeting, we decided to explore ICOMS store implementation instead of Yahoo.
